About Hekla

We create saunas for calm, connection and everyday renewal — Infrared, Indoor and Outdoor, designed and built for the home wellness retreat.

Our story

Wellbeing, brought home

Hekla began with a simple belief: the restorative ritual of sauna belongs in everyday life, not just on holiday. For centuries the Nordic sauna has been a place to slow down, sweat and feel better — and we don’t think that should be reserved for a spa weekend.

So we set out to build saunas made for the home and the British garden: beautifully finished, genuinely easy to live with, and engineered for a ritual you’ll come back to day after day.

Part of how you live

A sauna shouldn't be a holiday memory. We build ours for the home and the British garden, so the ritual that helps you slow down is there any evening you need it.

Built to last

Made for the British garden

Our outdoor cabins are built in thermally modified Nordic timber — heat-treated for stability and resistance to damp, so they weather the UK’s rain and cold without warping or rot. Full-glass fronts, LED mood lighting and considered detailing mean a Hekla looks as good as it feels, season after season.
